Raj Cooperative Dept to sell Sivakasi crackers at low prices

The Rajasthan Cooperative Department today announced that it will sell Sivakasi-made firecrackers on subsidised rates by offering 55 to 60 per cent less than the print rate at its departmental stores in the state capital, an official said here.
To avoid traffic congestions, buyers can go to any cooperative-run store located outside the walled city to buy not only firecrackers at economic price but also other Diwali gifts and decoration items, Registrar of Cooperative Societies Anurag Bhardwaj said.
Crackers of Cock Mark from Sivakasi in Tamil Nadu are specially arranged for customers at the lowest price tag, he added.
