Farmers in Rajasthan applying for long-term agriculture loans will get 5 per cent subsidy on interest, a state minister said today.
Cooperative Minister Ajay Singh Kilak said the government took the decision in the interest of farmers who are in need of credit for agriculture works.
With the decision, farmers will get the loan at 7.50 per cent interest rate, which otherwise is 12.50 per cent.
The scheme will be applicable on long-term loans from cooperative land development banks.
