"The Cabinet today approved rules of Rajasthan Out-of- Turn appointment to Sports Medal Winner, 2017 for giving government jobs to medal winners.
"The gold medal winners in the Olympics, Asiad and Common Wealth games will get direct appointment to the posts in the Rajasthan Administrartive Service (RAS) and Rajasthan Police Service (RPS)," state parliamentary affair minister Rajendra Rathore told reporters after the cabinet meeting here today.
The silver and bronze medal winners in Asiad and the winners and the runners-up of other world-level sports championship and those taking part in the Olympics, following qualifying will be given appointment in the state sub-ordinate services, the minister said.
Rathore said that medal winners in senior category in national games, medal winners of national championship, winners and runners-up sportspersons and those participating in Paralympics following qualifying will be given appointment on ministerial services.

There will be no age-bar and to seek an appointment sportsperson will have to complete necessary educational qualification in five years time.
Apart from sports, to fill the gap of specialist doctors in the state, the government has signed a contract with College of Physician/Surgeons, Mumbai.
The selected medical institutions will have 21 diploma and five fellowship courses having total 266 seats, of which 50 per cent will be reserved for in-service doctors.
The state cabinet also discussed Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet (GRAM) scheduled from May 24 to 26 in Kota.
It will be a divisional level meet in which more than 27,000 farmers have registered.
Representatives from The Netherlands, Morocco and two other countries will be take part in the meet, he added.
