Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra on Tuesday said Mahatma Gandhi's views are a source of inspiration for the whole world and relevant even today.
Inaugurating a multimedia exhibition on the father of the nation in Udaipur, he said if people imbibe the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi, the country will move forward and be revered as a world guru.
Mishra said Gandhi believed that cleanliness is the basis of a healthy life and can pave a way for better life.
"This cleanliness campaign of Gandhi is being run in the country and the world. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has presented himself as role model by adopting it. With this ideal of Gandhi, a clean and healthy India is emerging in front of the world," the governor said.
He described the multimedia exhibition as a powerful medium to spread the ideas of Gandhi.
The Rajasthan governor also released a special postal cover prepared on the theme of communal harmony.
