"The government is framing committee one after another but no concrete steps have been taken so far," the court observed and directed the government to file progress report on the action taken to remove and relocate mobile towers from near hospitals, schools and populated areas.
The government had earlier told the court that a panel set up by it has concluded that mobiles towers in close vicinity of hospitals, schools and populated needs relocation.
The committee had tabled its report before the government on August 13.
The division bench directed that the report be produced before it.
The matter will now be taken up on August 22.
