State Education Minister Kali Charan Saraf today instructed department officials to make arrangements for imparting moral science education to school students necessarily for ten minutes daily, from next academic session beginning in July.
The decision comes the same day when the state government, after Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh, also decided to drop the plan to include Prime Minister Narendra Modi's life story in its school syllabus.
Saraf without mentioning names, said the inspirational life events of eminent personalities of the nation should be imparted to children for at least ten minutes just after the morning assembly.
He also invited social organisations and individuals interested for rendering their services voluntarily for the purpose.
