Independent MLA Hanuman Beniwal today demanded the Rajasthan government to make necessary arrangements to bring back the body of a man, hailing from the state, who died in Riyadh a fortnight ago.
Beniwal said in the state Assembly that Rajudas, a resident of Kasmi in Barmer district, died in the Saudi Arabia capital nearly 15 days back and the state government should talk to the Centre to bring his body home as soon as possible.
BJP MLA Manvendra Singh intervened and said that he is in touch with the Indian Embassy in Riyadh over the issue.
He said that the police in Riyadh are probing the case considering it a suicide and will only send the body after they are satisfied with their investigation.
