Most of the areas of the state experienced a high temperature, though there was a marginal dip in the mercury in some parts.
Bikaner, Sriganganagar, Jaisalmer and Jaipur recorded a maximum of 42.7, 42.5, 42 and 41.3 degree celsius respectively while other places recorded day temperature between 37 degree celisus to 40.6 degrees, Met department said.
