Rajarani Music Festival begins in Bhubanesar

With the onset of spring , the 11th Century's famous Rajarani Temple here reverberated with the notes of Indian classical music by eminent classicists.
The Department of Tourism organises this unique festival of classical music starting from January 18 to 20 in the precinct of the magnificent Rajarani Temple.
The evening's first programme was Odissi Vocal recital by eminent singer Dr. Sangeeta Gosain.
Renowned tabla player Pandit Tanmoy Bose then presented the 'Taala Baadya Kacheri' set to Rag-Bachaspati and Tal-Aadital which was played through Tabla, Hindustani Pakhawaj, Mrudangam, Srikhol, Drum, Jumbo and Sarangi.
