Leader of Opposition Vasundhara Raje threatened to resign from her party's membership simply because another leader of BJP was taking out a rally which shows her commitment for the party, Gehlot said while speaking at a function here.

"Whereas our leader Sonia Gandhi left the prime ministerial post," he said.

Gehlot was speaking at a function organised by Congress Sewa Dal to mark the death anniversary of former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi.

He claimed there was no fight or tussle in Congress.

In an apparent reference to recent Bharatpur incident in which nuisance was created by a party leader's supporters in a party meeting chaired by PCC Chief, he said, "all such incidents and people should be condemned".

Appreciating work and vision of late Rajiv Gandhi, PCC president Chandrabhan called upon the workers to strengthen Congress as per the vision of Gandhi.
