Mehmood Abdi, the Deputy President of RCA has claimed that "BCCI was knocking at the wrong door".
Abdi, a lawyer himself said that a legally elected RCA has the rights to control the cricketing activities in state and this includes everything from organizing camps, selection of teams to represent the state.
He claimed that BCCI was now the casualty of the own mess created after suspending RCA.
Judicial process of challenge to suspension of RCA, stoppage of grants and privileges and prevention from representing players from Rajasthan is actively underway and the matter is listed before DJ city Jaipur on August 28, where BCCI will have to either argue their case for transfer or withdraw their application.

Thereafter, full challenge to suspension of RCA and its allied consequential issues will be proceeded with in ADG-4 court". Said Abdi who is also the president of the Sri Ganganagar District Cricket Association.
"There is no provision in BCCI bye laws to overtake any state association. What BCCI is to ICC, the RCA is to BCCI. BCCI's challenge to jurisdiction of RCA suit has been dismissed by Rajasthan High Court on August 11. As such RCA's challenge to BCC's decision of suspending the state body will go on in district court Jaipur as scheduled," claimed Abdi.
"The BCCI might have formed a so called committee but we would go ahead for selections of our teams and would sending it to tournaments, let the BCCI dare and stop them from playing," said a defiant Abdi.
