Rajasthan gets respite from heat

Day temperature partially decreased due to cloudy weather in parts of Rajasthan where Kota remained the hottest place recording a maximum of 42.8 degree Celsius.
According to the MeT department Churu, Sriganganagar and Chittorgarh recorded 42.6, 42.2 and 41 degree Celsius respectively whereas other places had a maximum between 38 degree Celsius and 40.6 degree Celsius.
Isolated areas in Northern part of the desert state may receive light rain accompanied with dust-storm during next 24 hours, a forecast said.
