Rajasthan gets Rs 796 cr from Centre for new roads

Union Rural Development Ministry has sanctioned a grant of Rs 796 cr under PMGSY to build 864 new roads in 16 districts in Rajasthan.
The state government would build 864 roads covering 2,617 km, an official release said here today.
Altogether 874 villages and Dhani (hutment) having population of 250 would be connected to roads. 961 villages having population less than 250 would also get the benefit of roads to be constructed elsewhere.
