Rajasthan govt working on varsity for differently-abled: Raje

The Rajasthan government is planning to establish an international university that will work to make the 15 lakh differently-abled persons of the state self-reliant, Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje said today.
Talks are being held with an international university in this regard, she added while addressing a Pandit Deen Dayal campaign for the differently-abled event here.
Differently-abled persons are an important part of the society and it is our collective responsibility to support them, the chief minister said.
She also said the state government will provide insurance, tricycles and jobs to 25,000 grade-3 teachers soon.
Referring to Khel Ratna Awardee para-athlete Devendra Jhanjharia, Raje said thet he was a source of inspiration who had shown that if we have the will power, no one can stop us from progressing.
Rajasthan Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Dr Arun Chaturvedi said that 17 schemes of the department were available online and 280 differently-abled persons had been provided employment through skill development centre.
