Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje today claimed that steps taken by her government have propelled the state to the "frontline of investment destinations" in the country and asked the media to highlight the "positives".
Addressing the gathering at 'Business Standard Rajasthan Round Table - 2016' here, she claimed steps such as creating an investor-friendly atmosphere, labour reforms, strengthening of infrastructure, ensuring ease of doing business etc. Have propelled Rajasthan to the "frontline of investment destinations" in the country.
"People generally talk about negative things, while the positive side should also be seen. Media can play an important role in highlighting the works done. Positive things in the state should also be appreciated," said Raje.
Claiming that the development scenario was changing in the state, she said labour sector reforms aimed at ensuring ease of doing business for small units, without compromising the interests of labourers, should serve as a "benchmark" for the rest of the country.
"Under the 'Nyay Aapke Dwar' campaign, more than 20,000 camps have been organised in two years. A total of 522 gram panchayats have been declared litigation-free, 15 lakh revenue records have been updated and more than 69 lakh families have benefited from these camps," she said.
