Rajasthan: Woman, 8-yr-old boy killed in ditch cave-in

A 20-year-old woman and a minor boy were killed, while four others injured today when the ditch they were digging in caved-in on them at Nayapura Gaoun village in neighbouring Baran district, police said.
The incident took place in the afternoon when six members of a Bheel family including three women were digging the ditch to take out soil for domestic use when a portion of it collapsed on them, sub inspector R H Pareta said.
They were rushed to the community health centre in Eklera town where the doctors declared Bhulibai Bheel and eight- year-old Dushyant Bheel as brought dead. The injured were referred to a government hospital in Jhalwar, he said.

The bodies were handed over to the family after postmortem, Pareta said.
