Blaming the BJP government for being anti nomads and tribes, Gopal Keshwat, Chairman, Denotified tribes, nomadic and semi-nomadic welfare board of Rajasthan said that budgetary support to the communities started by previous Congress government was stopped in the current fiscal year.
No budget was earmarked for the group as the Raje government desired to close down the board which needed immediate monetary support of Rs 500 crore in the next fiscal year 2015-16, he said at a press conference here.
The displaced victims of Sansi community were neither given compensation nor rehabilitated as of now, he said.
The hostel of Gardia Lohar community in Chittorgarh was taken over by the government to run the office, Keshawat said.

The Chairman of the welfare board alleged that the previous Congress government had announced to give 50 square feet of land to these people in Jaipur but JDA had not done any thing in this regard.
Keshawat pointed out that the victimised communities will hold a protest at Madau tomorrow for building pressure on the government.
"The state government was even against my chairmanship and I am fighting in the High Court since last year," he said.
