Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje today ordered a probe by state Anti-Corruption Bureau into the alleged irregularities and corruption in the projects under taken by the Jodhpur Development Authority.
In an order to the Principle Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department, the Chief Minister has directed that all such issues of JDA be referred to the ACB and the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) should be apprised about the progress in these cases, a Public Relation officer in the CMO said.
The move came after the CMO received a number of complaints relating to various projects undertaken by JDA.
It include making payments twice in some projects and other irregularities committed ahead of assembly elections last year, he said.
The Chief Minister has taken these complaints very seriously and ordered an ACB probe, the officer said.
