: Tamil superstar Rajinikanth turned 69 years old on Thursday with his fans across Tamil Nadu leading the birthday celebrations.
The fans celebrated the actor's birthday by conducting prayers, special poojas at temples and a community feast at various places across the state.
The actor, last seen in Karthik Subburaj's directorial 'Petta', is currently busy for 'Darbar' flick by 'Ghajini'-fame A R Murugadoss.
'Darbar' is expected to hit the screens soon. The audio of the flick was released recently.
The political and cinema world greeted the actor.
DMK chief M K Stalin said, "My hearty greetings to a dear friend who is celebrating his birthday today. I wish him a healthy and long life."
