Rajiv Gandhi Sewa Kendras to benefit rural areas, says Pilot

Using information technology, Rajiv Gandhi Sewa Kendras will deliver the advantage of services to rural areas, Corporate Affairs Minister Sachin Pilot said today.
"People in rural areas can submit their electricity or water bill, get train/buses tickets and other services related with government schemes at the kendra," he said at a function after inaugurating a kendra in Phagi gram panchayat here.
The minister said that Rajasthan government has done a remarkable work by connecting rural areas with IT through the seva kendras.
"This will benefit all, including farmers and youths," he said.
Pilot also praised the government for the state budget 2013-14 and said it has covered all sections of the society and has initiated pro-people schemes.

Similar sewa kendras, which were due to be inaugurated, were dedicated by village heads and other public representatives in other parts of the state.
