Rajmah chitra, urad decline on weak conditions

Weak conditions prevailed at the wholesale market today with prices of most of pulses, led by rajmah and urad, falling up to Rs 500 per quintal owing to slackened demand at prevailing levels against adequate stocks position.
Marketmen said besides fall in demand at existing higher levels, adequate stocks availability in the market mainly kept pressure on pulses.
In the national capital, rajmah chitra suffered the most and eased to Rs 4,000-6,300 per quintal.
Urad and its dal chilka local were down by Rs 300 each to Rs 4,500-5,900 and Rs 6,400-6,600 per quintal respectively. Urad dal best quality and dhoya followed suit and traded lower by the same margin to Rs 6,600-7,200 and Rs 7,000-7,400 per quintal respectively.
Moong and its dal chilka local also declined by Rs 150 each to Rs 6,900-7,900 and Rs 7,800-8,300 per quintal. Its dal dhoya local and best quality enquired lower by the same margin to Rs 7,800-8,100 and Rs 8,600-8,700 per quintal.
Masoor small and bold softened by Rs 200 each to Rs 5,800-5,950 and Rs 5,800-6,000 per quintal respectively. Its dal local and best quality traded lower by the same margin to Rs 6,850-6,950 and Rs 6,950-7,050 per quintal respectively.

Malka local and best quality declined by Rs 200 each to Rs 6,600-6,900 and Rs 6,800-6,900 per quintal respectively.
In line with overall trend, moth weakened by Rs 100 to Rs 5,400-5,700 per quintal.
Arhar and its dal dara variety eased by Rs 200 each to Rs 4,950-5,150 and Rs 6,250-6,500 per quintal respectively.
