Rajmah declines on easing demand

Barring a fall in rajmah prices on fall in demand from retailers, other pulses held steady at the wholesale pulses market today.
Traders said easing demand from retailers at prevailing levels against adequate stocks position mainly led to decline in rajmah prices.
In the national capital, rajmah chitra moved down by Rs 100 to Rs 7,500-10,300 per quintal.
Following are today's pulses rates (in Rs per quintal):
Urad Rs 5,800-6,400, Urad Chilka (local) Rs 5,900-6,000, Urad best Rs 6,000-6,500, Dhoya Rs 6,400-6,700, Moong Rs 4,800-5,000, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 5,300-5,500, Moong Dhoya local Rs 5,900-6,400 and best quality Rs 6,400-6,600.
Masoor small Rs 4,600-4,750, bold Rs 4,650-4,850, Dal Masoor local Rs 4,900-5,400, best quality Rs 5,000-5,500, Malka local Rs 5,200-5,400, best Rs 5,300-5,500, Moth Rs 3,600-4,000, Arhar Rs 4,550, Dal Arhar Dara Rs 6,400-8,200.
Gram Rs 5,400-5,600, Gram dal (local) Rs 6,300-6,600, best quality Rs 6,700-6,800, Besan (35 kg), Shakti Bhog Rs 2,800, Rajdhani Rs 2,800, Rajma Chitra Rs 7,500-10,300, Kabuli Gram small Rs 9,200-9,700, Dabra Rs 2,700-2,800, Imported Rs 4,700-5,100, Lobia Rs 5,400-5,600, Peas white Rs 2,700-2,725 and green Rs 2,900-3,000.
