Rajmah weakens on subdued retailers' demand

Barring a fall in rajmah prices due to sluggish demand from retailers, other pulses held steady at the wholesale pulses market today.

Traders attributed the weakness in rajmah prices to muted demand from retailers against ample stocks position on increased arrivals from growing areas.

In the national capital, rajmah chitra shed Rs 50 at Rs 6,100-8,300 per quintal.

Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal): urad Rs 4,100-5,200, urad Chilka (local) Rs 5,200-5,300, urad best Rs 5,300-5,800, Dhoya Rs 5,750-5,950, Moong Rs 4,900-5,400,
