Rajnath to attend RSS leader Parameswaran's 90th b'day fete
Press Trust of IndiaUnion Home Minister Rajnath Singh will be the Chief Guest at a two-day 'Navati' (90th birthday) celebrations of renowned RSS ideologue P Parameswaran, being organised by Bharatheeya Vichara Kendram here from April 1. The Home Minister will attend the "Parameswarji felicitation ceremony on April 2 at Bhaskareeyam Convention centre", Elamakkara here, organisers said here. Navati celebrations Committee Chairman Justice K T Thomas will preside over the function.
Rajya Sabha member M P Veerendra Kumar, Saha Sarkaryavah RSS Krishna Gopal,former chief secretary D Babu Paul, Richard Hay, MP, will also address the gathering, they told reporters.
Nalanda University Chancellor Prof Vijay Bhatkar will inaugurate the Navati Celebrations on April 1 at A J Hall, Kaloor.
Seminars on nationally relevant topics like 'Nationalism: Changing Perception and New Challenges' and 'Development and Environment' will be conducted on Day One of the celebrations, they said.
