They assembled under the aegis of the Shri Rastriya Rajput Karni Sena and agitated against director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and actress Deepika Padukone, who plays the role of Queen Padmini in the controversial film.
The women demanded that the state and central governments ban the movie, alleging it "misrepresents Rajput culture and tradition with distorted historical facts" and burnt its posters.
Shri Rastriya Karni Sena district chief Rashmi Rathod alleged that the distortion of historical facts could not be tolerated.
The women threatened that if their demands were not met, the protests against the film would be intensified.
