Filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra today refuted rumours that Hrithik Roshan has walked out of his forthcoming directorial "Kabaddi".
The director, however, did not confirm that if the actor is still a part of the project.
There were reports that Mehra had approached Hrithik for the sports film and that the actor had now walked out of the project.
When asked about it, Mehra quipped, "This is wonderful. Before I know things media knows it... No, (there's) nothing like that."
The "Rang De Basanti" director said he is currently working on the film's script.
"Script writing is the most wonderful process which I enjoy. It's also tedious and a slow process. 'Rang De Basanti' took me five years to get it right... I think we should be ready with the script in a year or 18 months from today."
Mehra was speaking at a special Gandhi Jayanti celebration and launch of a Model Government School as part of the Yuva Unstoppable initiative.

"The film is about an eight-year-old kid who writes a letter to the prime minister asking some questions to him. He goes to Delhi to deliver the letter. He wants to make a toilet for his single mother (played by Anjali Patil)."
The director said he is hoping to release the film by next year.
"I am hoping to release (the movie) anything between February and July next year. The shoot is over though. We had fun making the film. It was shot in Ghatkopar with the slum dwellers. Somewhere the film and the work I do outside the industry (social service) came together and I didn't feel like I was 'working.'"
Also present at the event were Ronnie Screwvala, Saiyami Kher, politician Poonam Mahajan among others.
