30-year-old Rakesh had poured kerosene into his mouth and was blowing fire-balls when he suffered the burns.
The incident occurred yesterday night at about 11.30 pm.
Rakesh was taken to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan (LNJP) hospital where after giving him necessary treatment, he was discharged, DCP (North) Madhur Verma said.
Police have registered an FIR under sections 285 (dealing with fire or other combustible so as to endanger human life), 336 (act which endangers human life or personal safety of others) and 337 (causing hurt by act which endangers human life) of the IPC, the officer said.
