Shah Rukh-Kajol starrer "Dilwale" marks the reunion of the classic pair who last worked together in 2010.
"We were asked once which film would we like to be a part of and we both said 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge'. We belong to the generation where as a love story, the film has really impacted our lives. Just like all their other fans, we belong to the fan group," Deepika told reporters here.
Ranbir said he was excited for "Dilwale". "Whenever Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol come together for a film or do a song, there is great excitement.
"When 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' was released, everybody thought they were Rahul. Even I had bought a polo t-shirt with that 'cool' necklace," he said.
Though the "Bombay Velvet" star feels great when his pairing with Deepika is compared with other famous pairs, he says the duo need to work harder to be worthy of the praise.
