Randhawa best Indian at Russian Open in Moscow

Jyoti Randhawa was the best placed Indian golfer midway through the second round of the M2M Russian open here today.
Randhawa, who is playing a limited schedule last two years, scored two-over 73 in the second round to aggregate one-under 141 for 36 holes.
The Indian had five birdies against two bogeys on first day for a 68 and then had an eagle, a double bogey and two bogeys in the second round.
Rahil Gangjee, who had a 68 on first day was two-over through nine holes in second round and was one-under for 27 holes.
SSP Chawrasia hung in by a slender thread with rounds of 72 and 71 and he was one-over 143 as the cut looked likely at even par or one-over.

Khalin Joshi, 74 in first round was two-over in second to be five-over after 26 holes, while Gaganjeet Bhullar continued his struggle after a first round 80 and two-under through 13 holes in second round. But at seven-over for the tournament with five holes left, he looks likely to miss the cut.
Bradley Dredge moved into the lead with rounds of 66-66 and he was 10-under, while Daniel Gaunt (65-69) was eight-under and sole second.
Ben Evans (67-68), Pablo Martin Benavides (68-67) were at seven-under as was Thailand's Thitiphun Chuayproakong, who had six more left in second round.
