Lamb of God rocker Randy Blythe will replace sick Eyehategod frontman Mike Williams on their upcoming US tour.
The Redneck singer will fill in for Mike at 11 concerts between October 6 and 16, while he recovers from unspecified health problems.
In a statement released by Eyehategod, Randy expressed his delight at getting to perform with a band whose work he loves, reported Contactmusic.
"Anyone who knows me well knows I am a massive Eyehategod fan," he said.
"I've seen them play more times than I can remember. I wear their merch (andise) - I even have a freaking Eyehategod tattoo that I got in New Orleans. They are one of my favourite bands of all time."
The rocker added that he felt he could not turn down the opportunity to front the metal group on the tour, where they will play alongside metal pioneers Discharge, but that he would not be replacing his friend permanently.
