The 54-year-old singer has spend over a month in Baylor Heart in Plano, Texas. He has been relocated to a physical therapy facility where he will receive treatment following his stroke, reported Ace Showbiz.
The country star was admitted to hospital on July 7 following a viral infection. He was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy and congestive heart failure.
Following his diagnosis, Travis underwent a number of surgical procedures to relieve pressure on his brain, after which he suffered a stroke.
Mary Davis, Travis' fiancee issued a statement thanking the public for their continued support.
The singer is best known for his hits such as 'Three Wooden Crosses and his breakthrough album Storms of Life. Travis first began recording in 1985, since then he has won 6 Grammy Awards and has received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He has also appeared in films with Matt Damon and Patrick Swayze.
