Rangasamy rolls out free blanket scheme

Chief Minister N Rangasamy today rolled out a scheme to distribute free blankets to the aged persons and also to differently abled persons.
Under the scheme operated by Department of Social Welfare, those above 70 years and also differently abled would get blankets. The total cost would be Rs 1.25 crore.
As many as 5,912 persons would be covered under the scheme, he said.
