Dilli Haat INA in association with Delhi Tourism is currently hosting its annual three-day Sharbat Mela over the weekend here. The mela, has on offer a variety of quenchers from different parts of the country.
Ethic drinks from Bihar both in sweet and salty are being available, alongside there are a variety of drinks like Thandai, Lassi, jaljeera, Mago Shake, Aam Panna, Kokam coupled with the easily available Chuski, Kulfi, Faluda, Cold Coffee, icecreams and fresh fruit juices.
Another brand Hitkary has a variety of syrups like orange, mango, pineapple, shahi kewda, lichi, jamun, kaala khatta and an exclusive type of sandal wood syrup.
Badam or Almonds seem to be popular among customers with the three types of Badam syrups being the most favoured product. The syrups made only with milk gives customers a chance to continue drinking the boring milk even in summers but with a twist.

"We have two types of lemonade but our specialty is the 'Sharbat-e-Fida' which is a mixture of five ingredients. It is made of Sandalwood oil, silver leaves, Kewda, Sankpukshi and Brahmi and changes colour when mixed with water. The colour changes from red to yellow and we have also dropped the price for our customers," says Suri.
