Rani Mukerji, Aditya Chopra welcome baby girl Adira

Actress Rani Mukerji and filmmaker husband Aditya Chopra today welcomed their first child, a baby girl, who they have named Adira.
Yash Raj Films, headed by Aditya, made the announcement on their official Twitter account.
"Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra become proud parents to a baby girl named 'Adira'," the post read.
Aditya's younger brother Uday Chopra and friend Karan Johar alos shared the news on Twitter.
"IT'S A GIRL!!!" tweeted Uday.
"Am an uncle to a beautiful baby girl today!!! @udaychopra!! Rani and Adi had a baby girl!" wrote Karan.

Actress Parineeti Chopra, who made her debut under the YRF banner, also congratulated the couple, writing, "IT'S A GIRL!!!! So so excited baby Adira is born !! #Adi #Rani."

Actor Ayushmann Khurrana congratulated Uday on the birth of the baby. "Congrats chachu!!!" he wrote.
Rani, 36, and Aditya, 42, secretly tied the knot in April last year in Italy.
It is the first marriage for Rani while Aditya, who is known to be a very private person, was previously married to Payal Khanna but they got divorced in 2009.
