In the elections conducted on the PCA stadium premises here, Singh defeated Shyam Singh Yadav, president of Uttar Pradesh Rifle Association, with an overwhelming 89-1 margin.
Raninder is the son of Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh.
In his vote of thanks, Raninder assured the Federation and the entire Shooting fraternity that he will personally take up the matter of GST with the Ministry of Finance, via the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs.
He said the 18 per cent tax levied on all imports, including duty-free imports, might have an adverse impact on the Shooting sport ecosystem, including on athletes vying to bring glory to the country.

"The NRAI expects an early resolution to the issue and will do all in its power to ensure that the athletes and the sport are not affected," he said.
Meanwhile, D V Seetharama Rao has been unanimously re-elected as secretary general for the second term while Karan Kumar has been elected as treasurer of the Association.
There are many new faces inducted into the Governing Body of NRAI.
K N Singh Deo, MP from Odisha, has been unanimously elected as senior vice president.
Elections were conducted for the posts of president, vice presidents (8) and hony secretaries (6), a NRAI spokesman said.
