Rao Inderjit visits forward areas in Sikkim

Minister of State for Defence Rao Inderjit Singh took stock of infrastructure development in some forward areas including Nathula in northern Sikkim.
During his visit yesterday, senior Army officials briefed him about the Army's preparedness in the sector.
The minister emphasised that ensuring infrastructure development in the region was one of the prime focus areas of the present government and impetus will be given to it in the coming years, an Amry official said.
