Attacking the Delhi Police, senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia demanded that accountability needs to be fixed in this case, especially on the traffic police as the driver did not have a license issued by Delhi Traffic Authority.
Ahead of Delhi assembly polls early next year, the party also attacked the BJP and Centre and said while Rs 100 crore were being spent on security of women, Rs 450 were alloted to protect the VIPs.
"What steps has the Central government taken ever since it came to power? Delhi is being ruled by Union government. Have they come up with any concrete policy related to women's security? Where are the fast tracks they had promised," Sisodia said.
He said, it was important to fix responsibility and erring officials should be held accountable.

"Why was no verification of the driver done? Unless responsibility is not fixed in the Delhi Police, things are not going to improve," Sisodia said.
