Banerjee told the Assembly while there were 585 rape cases in Delhi, 232 in Mumbai, 94 in Chennai and 90 in Bangalore, it was 68 in Kolkata.
She said there was decrease of 3.1 per cent in crimes against women in 2013.
The Chief Minister said 23,818 incidents of crime against women were directly recorded at police stations in 2013 as against 24,590 cases reported in 2012.
She said 19 human rights courts were established along with eight CBI courts, 46 courts for women and 88 fast tracks courts were working in the state.

Responding to the Opposition charges that infighting in the Trinamool Congress was posing a law and order problem, she said she never tolerated it.
