The tribunal, presided by Kiran Bansal, passed the order on the complaint of east Delhi resident Noorjahan who was hit by the truck in 2010.
"Award is passed directing Respondent no 2 (municpal body) to pay a sum of Rs 2,22,400 to the petitioner," the tribunal said, while holding the civic body liable to pay the compensation.
It also noted that Noorjahan suffered from permanent disability of 20 per cent in right lower limb due to the accident.
Due to the collision, she fell down on the road and sustained grievous injuries, the complaint said.
She claimed before the court that she used to work as a maid and earned Rs 4,500 per month.
