Under the 'Friends of Rashtrapati Bhavan' programme, the 'scholar guides' will educate the visitors to the President's House about its multi-facetedness.
The 'scholar guides' are required to have a deep understanding of Indian history, art and culture and must possess a graduate degree or above. They must not be less than 25 years of age and should have proficiency in either Hindi or English, with conversational skills in both languages, a statement said.
The selected candidates will be paid Rs 900 per day.
The engagement of the selected guides will commence from January 1, 2013, it said.
