Ration dealer held for hoarding govt sugar

A ration dealer was today arrested and 44 bags of government sugar meant for distribution amongst public seized from his posssession in Kathua district, police said.
"We have arrested a ration dealer from Rajbagh area and recovered 44 bags of sugar meant for the general public of the area on government subsidized rates, which he had hoarded," a police spokesman said.
The accused has been identified as Onkar Singh.
"A case under various sections has been registered against the accused and further investigation has been initiated," the police spokesman said.
