Ration shops in Nagercoil supplying coconut oil in bottles

The Public Distribution System shops, which usually distributed Palmolein oil, here has started distributing coconut oil in 100ml bottles to beneficiaries from today.
According to officials, the coconut oil would be supplied in all the 756 ration shops in the district.
The cost of the 100 ml bottle was Rs.33,said Maharajan,a shop salesman.
Officials said the government's objective was to supply quality coconut oil at a reasonable rate to the public.
