The Ravenshaw University authorities here today suspended a final year BBA student for four semesters on disciplinary grounds.
This decision of the authorities came following an adverse report submitted by the University Disciplinary Committee against the student who was charged with indiscipline in the campus.
"The student has been debarred from entering the hostel and university campus till June 2020," university Registrar Maheswar Agasti said.
The Disciplinary Committee was asked to probe and submit a report on the fracas that took place in the Lalitgiri Hostel of the university in May and the student was found guilty by the panel, Agasti said.
