Ravi Teja hits unbeaten century, Hyderabad ahead

Skipper Dwaraka Ravi Teja completed his century to take Hyderabad to a huge total before Tripura put up a strong show in their second innings by reaching 240 for four on the third and penultimate day of their Ranji Trophy cricket match here today.
Resuming at 487 for nine, Hyderabad batted for just 1.4 overs and they declared at 491/9 after Ravi Teja completed his unbeaten century by adding four more runs to his overnight 96 as the visitors took a massive 307-run first innings lead.
In their second essay, Tripura put up a stiff fight with opener Udiyan Bose (63) and Rakesh Solanki (71 batting) hitting half centuries at the Maharaja Bir Bikram College Stadium.
Captain Rajesh Banik was giving Solanki company on 31 at the draw of stumps as Tripura would look to draw the match on the final day tomorrow.
Tripura still trail by 67 runs with six second innings wickets remaining. Jharkhand would press for early wickets tomorrow to press for a win.
