Chairing a meeting with various departmental heads here, Rawat said the assessment should be done following the guidelines set by State Disaster Response Force (SDRF).
The Chief Minister has appointed a nodal officer in several departments -- construction, drinking water, irrigation, agriculture, power and livestock -- to supervise the assessment.
He said the assessment report should be compiled with the pictures of the damaged sites.
Assuring people of timely action, Rawat said the government is making constant efforts and has already released an appropriate budget for it.
