RBI sets rupee reference rate at 63.8916 against dollar

The Reserve Bank of India today fixed the reference rate of rupee at 63.8916 against the US dollar and 70.1210 for the euro as against 63.7138 and 69.6264 respectively yesterday.
According to a RBI statement, the exchange rates for the pound and the yen against the rupee were quoted at 99.1023 and 51.56 per 100 yen, respectively, based on reference rates for the dollar and cross-currency quotes at noon.
The SDR-rupee rate will be based on this rate, the statement added.
