RBI sets rupee reference rate at 66.0805 against dollar

The Reserve Bank today fixed the reference rate of the rupee at 66.0805 against the US dollar and 73.8119 for the euro.
These rates stood at 66.0993 and 73.9585, respectively, on Friday.
According to a RBI statement, the exchange rates for pound and yen against the rupee were quoted at 100.3168 and 54.92 per 100 yens, respectively, based on reference rates for the dollar and cross-currency quotes at noon.
The SDR-rupee rate will be based on this rate, it added.
