RBI sets rupee reference rate at Rs 66.3062 against dollar

The Reserve Bank of India today fixed the reference rate of rupee at 66.3062 against the US dollar and 74.4950 for the euro as against 66.0808 and 74.3673 respectively, last Friday.
According to an RBI statement, the exchange rates for the pound and the yen against the rupee were quoted at 102.3105 and 54.75 per 100 yen, respectively, based on reference rates for the dollar and cross-currency quotes at noon.
The SDR-rupee rate will be based on this rate, the statement added.
