RCA's premier tournament final to be played with pink ball
Press Trust of India Jaipur Taking a cue from Cricket Association of Bengal, Rajasthan Cricket Association is all set to host the four-day final of its premiere tournament Colwin Shield under lights with pink ball from July 12 to 15.
RCA secretary Sumendra Tiwari announced it in a press conference held at RCA Academy here today.
The first-ever pink ball match at the Pink City will be played at the RCA Academy ground.
Tiwari also said that the balls for the match have been especially ordered from Merut.
During the match, the cricketers will be wearing white kits and the sight screen will also be white.
RCA vice president Amin Pathan, executive secretary RS Nandhu, joint secretaries Vinod Sahran and Nirpjeet Singh, secretary of DCA Sikar, Subhash Joshi, and secretary of DCA Ajmer, Gunjan Sharma, were also present during the conference.
