Re-polling ordered for a booth of Sawaijpur seat in Hardoi

The Election Commission has cancelled the February 19 voting at booth number 154 of Sawaijpur assembly seat in Hardoi district and has ordered re-poll for it on March 8.
State's Chief Electoral Officer JP Singh said the re-polling for booth 154 would be held at booth 294 at Roshanpur Primary School on March 8 from 7 am to 5 pm.
He added the information about the re-poll has been conveyed to all political parties, candidates and election officials.
Re-polling was ordered following complaints against the returning officer, who reportedly did not allow voters standing in the queue to exercise their franchise.
